Novo Nordisk's reports of side effects leap after inspection

Just a few months after an FDA inspection found Novo Nordisk was delaying some reports about side effects and failing to submit others, the company submitted almost 11,000 reports about its drugs containing semaglutide within one week in July 2025.

Altogether, Novo Nordisk has submitted over 50,000 semaglutide reports since 2020, including at least 600 deaths.
